Measurement Principles and Switching Functions of Vacuum Relays

When the pressure within the system rises above or falls below the rated safety pressure, the diaphragm inside the sensor instantly shifts; acting through a connecting push rod, it actuates the switch contacts to either close or open the circuit. When the pressure subsequently returns to the rated recovery value-either by dropping to it or rising to it-the diaphragm instantly resets, and the switch automatically returns to its original state. Simply put, whenever the monitored pressure exceeds a preset threshold, the free end of the elastic sensing element undergoes a displacement; this displacement-either directly or after a comparative process-actuates the switching element, thereby altering its open/closed status to achieve the objective of controlling the monitored pressure. The elastic sensing elements typically employed in pressure switches include single-turn Bourdon tubes, diaphragms, diaphragm capsules, and bellows.

Switch Functions
1. Enables upper-limit stop and lower-limit start control functions (reverse control logic is also supported).
2. Features a configurable start-up delay to prevent potential damage caused by frequent motor cycling.
3. Supports switching between multiple pressure units: kPa, Bar, and PSI.
4. Includes a one-touch zeroing function.
5. Provides pipeline pressure-loss protection capabilities.
6. Features low power consumption, typically not exceeding 0.5 W.
7. Offers excellent vibration resistance, strong anti-interference capabilities, rapid response times, and stable performance.
