Product Overview
The Universal Circuit Breaker is an intelligent low-voltage air circuit breaker for main incomers, bus couplers and high-current distribution feeders. It uses an open-frame contact system, stored-energy mechanism and electronic trip unit to provide overload, short-delay, instantaneous and ground-fault protection.
It is installed in industrial switchboards, commercial-building main distribution panels, data centres, utility low-voltage rooms, generator systems and large motor-control centres operating at 400 V or 690 V.

Core Advantages
LSIG protection for selective main-distribution control
The electronic trip unit separates overload, short-delay, instantaneous and ground-fault settings. In a main switchboard with downstream MCCBs, the time and current settings can be coordinated so a branch fault is cleared downstream before the incomer opens.
630–6300 A frames for incomers and bus couplers
The current range covers transformer secondary incomers, generator outputs and bus-coupler positions. A 400 V or 690 V board can use the appropriate frame without paralleling several smaller breakers to carry the main-bus current.
Drawout structure for maintenance isolation
The drawout version moves between service, test and isolated positions. During trip-unit testing or contact maintenance, the breaker can be disconnected from the main bus while the switchboard remains mechanically intact.
Customization Capabilities
- 630–6300 A current frame and 50–120 kA breaking-capacity class.
- 3-pole or 4-pole structure and fixed or drawout installation.
- LSIG protection settings, communication interface and metering functions.
- Closing coil, shunt trip, undervoltage release and motor-charging voltage.
- Primary terminals, secondary wiring, door interlock and switchboard interface.
Quality Control
Frame and contact-system inspection
Main contacts, arc-control parts, operating mechanism, frame, terminals and insulation components are checked for the selected current frame and pole configuration.
Trip and mechanism verification
Manual and electric charging, closing, opening, anti-pumping, shunt trip, undervoltage release and electronic protection functions are checked after assembly.
Final configuration check
The current frame, protection unit, pole count, installation type, accessories, terminals and labels are matched to the order before packing. Every unit receives final inspection and third-party inspection is accepted.
Why Choose Us
Factory established in 1966
Wanping's parent company has operated since August 1966. The facility covers more than 20,000 square metres and employs 98 people.
In-house engineering team
The engineering team reviews current frame, breaking capacity, trip functions, installation structure and switchboard interface before the configuration is released.
One-piece orders and full inspection
The MOQ starts from one unit. Every breaker is inspected before packing, and customer-appointed third-party inspection is accepted.
FAQ
Q: How is a universal circuit breaker packed for export?
A: The breaker is secured in the open position, accessories are protected, and the unit is packed in an export wooden case. Drawout breakers and chassis are fixed separately inside the case.
Q: What is the standard lead time?
A: Standard configurations are produced in 20–40 days.
Q: When should a fixed type be selected?
A: Use a fixed breaker where the main circuit does not require withdrawal for testing or maintenance. Use a drawout breaker where service, test and isolated positions are required.
Q: What do L, S, I and G mean?
A: L is long-time overload protection, S is short-time short-circuit protection, I is instantaneous short-circuit protection and G is ground-fault protection.
