Product Overview
A high power relay is a vacuum relay selected by voltage, current, load characteristics, and switching energy together. A reinforced conductive path carries the load, while the vacuum contact chamber provides insulation and controls the switching arc inside compact high-power equipment.

Core Advantages
28 kV and 110 A model for power switching
JPK-36/074 is rated for 28 kV working voltage and 110 A carry current at DC/50 Hz, with separate ratings at higher frequencies. High-power supplies and RF generators can therefore be matched to the relay's stated voltage, current, and frequency data.
Normally open and normally closed options
JPK-36/074 provides an SPST-NO contact, while JPK-23/079 provides SPST-NC operation. Both operate within 18 ms, allowing the default state to follow the logic required by interlock, grounding, or power-stage circuits.
Customization Capabilities
Power and load ratings
Working voltage, carry current, make/break current, load type, inrush current, switching frequency, and duty cycle.
Control configuration
Coil voltage, contact form, pickup and release requirements, and operating logic.
Mechanical configuration
Terminal section, lead direction, housing dimensions, mounting interface, and development from JPK-23-079, JPK-36-074, JPK-61C-203, an approved drawing, or a sample.
Quality Control
Incoming inspection covers contact materials, reinforced conductors, ceramic enclosures, coils, and power terminals. Before vacuum processing, technicians check the conductor section, contact alignment, internal clearance, and the connection between the sealed contact assembly and the external terminals against the confirmed power configuration.
Finished relays are tested for insulation, withstand voltage, contact resistance, coil operation, and switching response. Aging screens for unstable assemblies. Final inspection then confirms the exact model, terminal section, mounting interface, label, and recorded electrical results for the shipment batch.
Why Choose Us
Equipment for sealed power assemblies
Twelve vacuum welding furnaces and eight vacuum component maturation instruments support sealing, post-assembly processing, aging, and final preparation.
Application experience across heavy-duty equipment
Wanping electro-vacuum products are used in power, radar, communication, metallurgy, coal, railway, and defense-related equipment.
Internal control by exact model
Contacts, conductors, coils, terminals, and ceramic dimensions are managed under the full model number so assemblies with similar housings but different power structures are not mixed.
FAQ
Q: Can a high power relay be developed from an existing sample?
A: Yes. The reference sample is measured for dimensions, terminal layout, contact configuration, coil data, voltage, current, and mounting interface. A new drawing and specification are approved before the sample relay is produced.
Q: How long does a custom sample take?
A: A custom high power relay normally takes 40-60 days after the technical specification is finalized. This covers structural review, sample assembly, vacuum processing, electrical testing, and sample verification.
Q: What is the difference between a high power relay and a high capacity relay?
A: A high power relay is selected from the combined voltage, current, load characteristics, and switching energy. A high capacity relay is selected mainly for heavy continuous current, make/break current, and the size of the reinforced current path.
Q: Can it switch motors, transformers, or other inductive loads?
A: Yes, provided the selected model is rated for the actual inrush and stored inductive energy. Selection data must include motor starting current or transformer magnetizing current, the suppression circuit, power factor, and switching frequency.
